Welcome!
Hi! My name is Lauren-Grace and I am a fun and friendly vocal teacher based in Greater Manchester, UK.
I am passionate about empowering students to build a foundation of healthy vocal technique that unlocks your true, authentic voice, so that you can sing any style of music with confidence, freedom and joy.
I believe that everyone can build a voice that they can be proud of, and I take great pride in being my students’ cheerleader and champion as we work together to master the tools and tricks to take your vocal abilities to new heights.
I really love how all voices are individual and unique, and that is why I have a holistic approach to teaching that places the student at the centre. All lessons are tailored individually to each student as we work together to achieve your goals.
The voice is a personal and often vulnerable thing, which is why it is so important to me to create an encouraging and nurturing learning environment where students feel safe to express their true and authentic selves.
About Me
Singing and performing has been a core part of my life for as long as I can remember, and from a young age I knew that I wanted to build a career centred around sharing this passion with others. I feel immensely proud and privileged that I get to fill my days with encouraging and supporting other singers along their vocal journey.
Through my training at BIMM University at both undergraduate and Masters level, I have honed my skills in teaching a wide variety of contemporary vocal genres, from rock to pop, musical theatre to gospel.
As a session singer, I am member of the vocal ensemble ‘Choir Noir’, with whom I have recorded and workshopped for a number of artists including Ed Sheeran and Bring Me The Horizon. I have had the privilege of performing at venues across the country, including Wembley Arena, Victoria Warehouse and Download Festival.
As a teacher, I am consistently looking for ways to keep my teaching practice and knowledge informed and up to date. This is why I regularly take part in CPD opportunities with organisations such as Vocal Health Education and the Institute for Vocal Advancement.
I can’t wait to meet you, whether that is for 1-2-1 lessons or as a part of Joy! Community Choir.
Happy singing!
